The Impact of Improving Fundraising and Enrollment Strategies on Higher Education

In higher education, institutions are constantly vying for a competitive edge. The race to attract students and increase tuition has led to significant investments in marketing, facilities, and technology. The fierce competition for students and their tuition dollars in higher education is only growing as institutions pursue strategies to best position themselves in the competitive marketplace, including offering college acceptance as early as 9th grade.

• Act as chief administrative officer of the Athletic Department
• Maintain responsibility for all departmental financial affairs, including preparation and control of an annual budget
• Oversee hiring and retention of quality coaches and administrative support staff
• Supervise/manage the use of athletic facilities with other campus and external users
• Promote programs that enhance diversity and gender equity in athletics
• Lead athletics fund-raising initiatives and coordinate/collaborate, when appropriate, with the Institutional Advancement office.
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education or a master’s degree is strongly preferred.
• 3 years experience leading an athletic department in a university setting

• Assist physicians and medical staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Plan, direct, coordinate, and evaluate the overall operation of the surgery center and participates in the development and implementation of the Center’s surgical policies & procedures
• Maintains open communication with all staff to promote quality improvement.
• Effectively manages staff scheduling, supervises the perioperative team, and promotes education and training.
• Remain up-to-date on current recommended standards & practices
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals for quality patient care.
• 3 years of experience in the Surgical Services Operating Room is required
• 2 years of experience as a charge nurse or RN supervisor in the OR BSN required
